Dr. Gouri Mohan

Academic & Leadership Coach

Leadership begins with understanding oneself — and extends to how you show up for others.

My research and coaching is focussed on understanding how people can bring greater authenticity and integrity in how they lead at work. Building on my personal and professional identities as a mother, an academic and an HR professional who has lived and worked in multiple countries, I bring a unique blend of global experiences and interdisciplinary perspectives to my work.

My leadership coaching is based on a fundamental principle that work should serve as a means of authentic self-expression for everyone. My clients tend to be senior professionals at an inflection point. They're often navigating a new leadership role, a cross-cultural environment, or a moment where the old script no longer fits. Many are women in leadership who are done performing someone else's version of authority. Many have built careers across borders and are learning to lead in cultures not entirely their own.

"Working with Dr Gouri Mohan has been a masterclass in self-discovery! Most executive coaching stays at the surface level of how to lead and navigate work situations, but Gouri goes much deeper. What sets Gouri apart from all other coaches I've worked with is her knack for cutting through all the noise to find the pivotal question that changes everything. Every session we've had so far has unearthed a pivotal question that has accelerated my self discovery journey.

Gouri helped me realize that my professional approach is inseparable from my personal growth journey. Stakeholders have already noticed the shift, but the most rewarding part is that it happened organically. Gouri didn't give me a playbook; she gave me the tools to understand my own mind. I’m coming away from this not just a better leader, but a more self-assured person. I cannot recommend her enough for anyone ready to do the real transformation work."
