About Me

​

Dr. Gouri Mohan is an Assistant Professor at IESEG School of Management in Paris. Her research focuses on leadership, diversity, and social networks in teams and organizations. Specifically, Dr. Mohan is interested in studying how individual differences affect interpersonal perceptions and the emergence of informal leaders in teams. Her research is motivated by a desire to bring more inclusiveness and nuance to the understanding and practice of leadership in contemporary organizations. In her research, Dr. Mohan employs an array of analytic approaches like social network analysis, multilevel modeling, and faultline analysis to explore questions related to leadership processes and team dynamics.

 

Dr. Mohan holds a PhD in Management from IESE Business School in Barcelona. Her research has been featured in academic outlets such as the Leadership Quarterly, Journal of  World Business, and Journal of Business Ethics.

Prior to her academic career, Dr. Mohan worked as an HR Manager for a multinational company in India, handling end-to-end HR operations. She has extensive experience in recruitment and selection, talent management, and leadership development.
